About Automations

What this does Automations send timed messages to clients when something happens in Cobbtree - a booking is made, an appointment is approaching, a waitlist slot opens, or a client leaves checkout unfinished.

Each automation is built from a template. You choose timing, message text and channels (Push and Email on mobile; SMS only when the platform has SMS connected).

Cobbtree engine Messages are evaluated and sent by the Cobbtree automation engine. Some tenants may still be on legacy senders or dual test while cutover completes. Superadmin controls global delivery and per-tenant cutover mode.

Marketing vs transactional Transactional automations (confirmations, reminders tied to an appointment) can send without marketing consent. Marketing automations (Abandoned booking, win-back, birthday) require marketing consent and start paused until you enable them.
