Scan a barcode to add a product
Scan a product barcode, confirm the details Cobbtree finds, then save it as yours.

Open Products, then Add product. On a phone or tablet tap Scan barcode and point the camera at the barcode. On a desktop, click the barcode field, scan with a USB or Bluetooth scanner, or type the digits and press Enter.
Cobbtree looks the barcode up on its own servers. Your camera stays on the device. Video is never uploaded.
If Cobbtree already has this product for your business, you will see it instead of a duplicate. If another Cobbtree business has already identified the barcode, you can add those details to your catalogue and enter your own prices and stock.
If a public database finds a match, check the name, size and image, then tap Use these details. Cost, retail price, supplier, VAT and stock are always yours to enter.
External barcode data can be incomplete or wrong. Verify it before saving.
