Record a payment from your own card machine

You do not have to use Cobbtree Terminal or Tap to Pay. If you already have a card machine, take the payment on that device, then choose Card machine on the Cobbtree till.

Cobbtree records the sale as a card payment. It does not collect the card, does not talk to that machine, and does not send the payment through Stripe Terminal.

Use Cobbtree Terminal only when you connect a WisePad 3 through the Cobbtree app. Use Card when the customer pays by card through Cobbtree Pay on the till or in the diary.
