Set up Tap to Pay

What you need Tap to Pay must be on the business plan, Stripe Connect must be complete for the location, and the location needs a valid UK address. The staff member also needs permission to take Tap to Pay payments.

Steps 1. Open the Cobbtree Business app on a compatible iPhone or Android device. Tap to Pay cannot run in Expo Go or a browser. 2. Open Payments & Devices. If status is Needs setup, tap Continue setup. 3. In Stripe, enable Terminal and Tap to Pay on iPhone and Tap to Pay on Android for the connected account. 4. The first time a connected account uses Tap to Pay, Apple (iPhone) or Google and Stripe (Android) may ask the business owner or an authorised administrator to accept terms. Accept those terms in the official screen. Cobbtree does not show a fake acceptance.

A new native iOS or Android binary is required for this capability. It cannot be delivered by an Expo OTA update alone.
