What is Tap to Pay?
Take contactless cards and wallets on a compatible iPhone or Android device through Stripe Terminal.

Tap to Pay lets a Cobbtree business take a contactless card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or another supported NFC wallet against the staff phone. Payments are processed through Stripe Terminal on the same Cobbtree sale, fees, receipt and refund path as other POS payments.
On iPhone this is Apple Tap to Pay on iPhone. On Android this is Stripe Tap to Pay on Android (Google contactless). It is not Apple Pay checkout, not Google Pay checkout, not manual card entry, and not a browser NFC feature. partners.cobbtree.com, iPad and desktop cannot act as the Tap to Pay reader.
