Take a Tap to Pay payment

1. Open POS on a compatible iPhone or Android device and build the sale as usual.
2. Choose Tap to Pay. Do not choose Card reader unless you are using a separate physical reader.
3. Tap Start Tap to Pay.
4. On iPhone, ask the customer to hold their contactless card or phone near the top of the device. On Android, Stripe shows the NFC tap zone on screen.
5. Apple or Google and Stripe show the secure contactless screen. Do not try to capture the card yourself.

If the payment is declined, the sale stays unpaid. Retry Tap to Pay or choose another method. Do not start a second sale.

Card reader (WisePad 3) is a separate till method. It uses the same Stripe Terminal sale and fee path, not a second payment engine.
