Using the BBPOS WisePad 3

1. Connect the reader in Payments & Devices. The till should show Cobbtree Terminal, WisePad 3 · Connected.
2. Build the sale as usual, including walk-ins, membership remainders, gift-card remainders and split tender.
3. Choose Card reader, then Take payment.
4. The customer taps or inserts on the WisePad. If the issuer needs a PIN, they enter it on the reader, not on the phone.
5. Cobbtree only marks the sale paid after the server confirms Stripe. A success screen on the phone is not enough on its own.

If Stripe asks for a reader update, keep the WisePad on, nearby and connected until it finishes. Do not take a payment during a required update.
