You can edit draft orders as much as you like. Sent orders can be edited until something has been received. Cancelling keeps the record and stops any more receiving, but...

Create a stock order

  1. 1
Open Orders, then New stock order.
  2. 2
Choose a supplier and the delivery location.
  3. 3
    Add the products and quantities.
  4. 4
Send the order. You can email it or download a PDF.

You can edit draft orders as much as you like. Sent orders can be edited until something has been received. Cancelling keeps the record and stops any more receiving, but doesn't reverse stock you've already received.

Receive an order

  1. 1
Open the order, then Receive stock.
  2. 2
Enter how many of each item arrived, or use Scan item. Each scan adds 1.
  3. 3
    Save.

If everything arrived, the order is marked received. If only part arrived (say 6 of 10), it stays part received with 4 still to come.

Transfer stock between locations

  1. 1
    Open Transfers, then New transfer.
  2. 2
Choose where it's coming from and going to, then the products and quantities.
  3. 3
Dispatch it. Stock leaves the first location and shows as in transit.
  4. 4
At the other location, open the transfer and receive what arrived.

If 10 left and 9 arrived, receive 9 and give a reason for the missing one.
