Start a stocktake

  1. 1
    Open Stocktakes, then New stocktake.
  2. 2
Choose a location, give it a name, and choose a full or partial count.

Count your stock

  • Type the counted quantities, or
  • Turn on Quick scan and scan each item. Each scan adds 1. USB and Bluetooth scanners work too.

Quick scan only finds products that are already in your catalogue. Unknown barcodes show an error and are never added automatically.

Pause and come back

Pausing keeps your counts. Live stock only changes when you complete the stocktake.

Complete it

Every item in the count must be counted or excluded first. Excluded items aren't set to zero. When you complete it, Cobbtree only records the differences between what you counted and what it expected.
