When a service has more than one discount or price change, Cobbtree applies them in a fixed order:
- 1Base price: the price on your service.
- 2Smart Pricing: off-peak, peak or last-minute.
- 3Membership perks
- 4Promotion: a promo code.
- 5Loyalty reward
- 6VAT
- 7Deposit: taken from the final price.
Example
A £50 service has a 20% off-peak rule, making it £40. The client then uses a £5 promo code, so it's £35. If you're VAT registered, VAT is added to the £35.
Do Promotions and Smart Pricing stack?
Yes, by default. A promotion can still apply after Smart Pricing, including last-minute prices, unless you set the promotion not to stack with Smart Pricing.
Booked prices are locked in
The price is saved when the appointment is booked. Changing a rule, pausing a promotion or rescheduling the appointment won't change it.
