Smart Pricing changes service prices automatically by day and time. You can offer a discount at quiet times (off-peak) or charge more at busy times (peak, shown as Surge in the editor).
Create a rule
- 1Open Operations → Smart Pricing → Create rule. You can do this on the web or in the Cobbtree app.
- 2Name the rule and choose Off-peak or Surge, with a percentage.
- 3Choose the start and end times and the days.
- 4Choose services and team members, or leave them on All.
- 5Save.
What customers see
- Off-peak: the lower price on matching times, with the normal price crossed out and an off-peak label.
- Peak: the higher price. It's never shown as a discount.
- On service cards, customers may see a From price, but only if there's a real cheaper time they can book in the next 14 days.
Edit or pause
Open the rule, then Edit, to change times, days, services or team members. Pause stops a rule changing prices. Appointments already booked always keep their price.
The weekly view
The weekly map shows your off-peak and peak windows. If windows overlap, the live rule with the highest priority wins.
Suggestions
Cobbtree looks at your last few weeks and suggests discounts for quiet times. It never changes prices on its own. Use Create rule on a suggestion, dismiss it, or ask not to see that window again.
